Local Academy Committee Membership
Your Local School Needs You!
Dear Parent /Guardian,
You may be aware that Corpus Christi Catholic Primary School is collaborating to form a Multi Academy Company (MAC) called the Romero Catholic Academy.
The schools within the Romero MAC are:-
• Secondary School - Cardinal Wiseman
• Primary Schools - Corpus Christi, Good Shepherd, Sacred Heart, SS Peter and Paul, St. Gregory, St. John Fisher and St. Patrick’s
Within the MAC, each school will have what is called a Local Academy Committee (LAC), made up of a mixture of representatives, very similar to the existing Governing Body structure. An image of the structure is show below:-
The LAC operates under the guidance and support of the Board of Directors for the Romero MAC but is fundamentally responsible for ensuring the operational matters associated with the day-to-day running of our schools.
We’re currently in the process of recruiting Foundation LAC members to work with the school and the academy to help ensure that we’re collectively offering the best possible age’s 3-19 Catholic education for our children.
