Special mention Assembly - 15th May
After a long week we end with a lovely celebration assembly, Mrs Newman thought everybody deserved a special mention as everyone has been fantastic. Of course we celebrate Year 6 working so hard and coming to end of their SAT's exams. Year 1 and 4 win the attendance award both achieving 100% attendance! Fantastic!
The school have received notification from Ofsted today to advise that they will be undertaking a school inspection here at Corpus Christi Catholic Primary School on Tuesday 12th and Wednesday 13th May. Letters will be sent home with children with more information.
Parents are also requested to complete the Parent View questionnaire. This gives you the opportunity to share your views about the school. Your input is valuable. The link to this questionnaire can be found within the Ofsted area of our website, or alternatively via the link below. https://parentview.ofsted.gov.uk/login?destination=give-your-views
Academy Committee Members
As you are aware we will become an academy over the next few months.
I would like to reassure you that there will be no changes to uniform, name or the quality of education for Corpus Christi children and community.
We will be known as Corpus Christi Catholic Primary School as part of The Romero Academy.
As part of this we do need a governor committee, which will be known as the Academy Committee to help us manage school business and support decisions being made. I ask you or people you may know to consider being part of this group of people, especially if you have business or professional skills and knowledge in any aspects of the working world.
Please let me know if you are interested. I am happy to discuss what is involved in this role. I would say that we welcome a whole range of applications and need a balance of people with a range of skills. This can be beyond school parents so please let other people you know who might be interested. Do not think "I have nothing to give or enough knowledge about how school works". We have had vacancies for a long time and really need to ensure we have a full, varied and skilled committee.
INTERESTED?? Come and have a chat!
