Christmas Festive Fun Day - Saturday 6th December
It's that lovely fun time of the year again and Corpus Christi will be hosting this event.
There will be a craft fair, a range of games, raffle, tombola, Santa’s Grotto, a bring-and-buy stall and refreshments. We need donations of unwanted toys, books, puzzles and games for our bring-and- buy stall. If parents have any clean and fully-working toys in good condition that they would like to donate for re-sale, could they please bring them into school for the attention of Mrs Flynn.
We also need donations for our tombola stall. Please could each child bring in something from the following to donate: sweets, chocolates, wine, gift items and toiletries. We welcome any further offers of help from Parents who would like to be involved in organising things for the event and please contact the School and let us know if you can.

Anti-Bullying Poster Competition Winners
We received a lot of fantastic posters for the Anti-Bullying poster competition this week and in assembly this morning we revealed the winners. Our two runners up were Leyla Mahmud in year 3 and Katie Leigh Galloway in year 6. The winner with a wonderful poster from year 3 was Klaudia Bogacka! Congratulations to them and thankyou for your hard work.
New Poppy Garden
Today every year group took turns to go outside to the new designated poppy garden area to say a prayer and scatter the very poppy seeds which will grow into poppies. This poppy garden will centre around a special tree which will be planted. We cannot wait to see our poppies bloom next year and our new tree grow up alongside our pupils here at Corpus Christi.
The Message reads "We have scattered seeds and planted a tree to remember those who gave their lives and those we love."
